Remember that place I wrote about where two other Mommies and I decided to take 9 children ages six and under for a "short" hike that ended up being 2 hours? Yeah, I decided I liked that experience so much that Brian and I took the kids and dog with us and did it again! Luckily we only hiked for about an hour instead of two and we had packed a picnic lunch to eat when we reached the tiny waterfall. This one went a lot better considering it was during Megan's nap time, the kids kept tripping on everything towards the end when they got tired and Zoey chewed through her leash within 5 SECONDS (literally) after we got her out of the car. Anyway, we had a great time, I'm so glad my kids are all finally old enough to do this kind of thing. Here are the few pictures that we took. Enjoy!
Being the spiritual man that he is, Brian loves the symbolism of him showing the way to our children and guiding them on their journey. :)
Stopping for a nice picnic lunch. It was quite an adventure trying to keep Zoey from snatching the kids' sandwiches. Peanut butter and honey sandwiches are her favorite!
Mommy trying to keep Zoey from snatching anymore food. :)
